What to know about the sensational south superstar, Vijay Deverakonda’s first Bollywood debut movie Liger?
Liger which is written and directed by Puri Jagannath and produced by Dharma productions and Puri Connection is an upcoming Indian power packed action movie that will soon be released in both Hindi and Telugu languages. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda as the lead role alongside Ananya Panda as the lead actress and Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishna in pivotal roles. The popular American boxer Mike Tyson made his first Bollywood debut in Indian cinema by playing an extended cameo.
The film was first announced long back in 2019. And in January 2021 the title Liger was officially declared. This film marks the debut of south superstar, Vijay Deverakonda in Bollywood cinema and Ananya Panday in Telegu films. This movie’s songs are catchy and composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Vikram Montrose and Sunil Kashyap. The Covid 19 pandemic caused the film’s shooting to come to a standstill. And after the post-pandemic time, it resumed in February 2021 and finally, it got wrapped up in February 2022.
Liger Story
Liger is an Indian Sports action-based movie, in which the lead actor Vikay Deverakonda plays the role of an Indian kickboxer. He follows a strict exercise regime for developing and uplifting his kickboxing skills. He is portrayed as an expert in kickboxing and martial arts. He left no stones unturned for transforming himself, he even went to Thailand for completing his training.
We can very well understand that the protagonist of the movie is a difficult task maker and never settles for less. He is training himself day and night to brush up his skills and toughened himself up. As announced by the censorship board, Liger is going to be 2 hours and 20 minutes movie. The first half of the movie is around 1 hour and 15 minutes whereas the second half will be approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes. The movie is a power-packed action movie containing seven to eight fighting scenes.

Vijay Devara Konda playing the lead role is proclaimed to be the son of Ramya Krishna and Mike Tyson in this film. But meanwhile, the boxer Mike Tyson leaves both of them and went abroad. The story revolves around the plot that how Ramya Krishna devoted her life to making his son a well-renowned boxer, even bigger than his father. And finally, after many years when Vijay came to know about this truth, he went on the journey of finding his father.
He has faced every kind of hardship, every day to transform himself. In the end, after having a severe fight with his father, Devarakonda finally brings both of his parents together. Now the netizens who came to know about this are still wondering whether this is the real story of the film. But to find out the real truth, we need to wait till the theatrical release of the movie.

Liger Movie Release Date
The theatrical release date of this movie is scheduled for the 25th Of August 2022, in both Hindi and Telugu languages. Liger is supposed to be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions apart from Hindi and Telugu versions. Earlier in January 2021, it was announced that the film release date will be on 9th September 2021 but it got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The release date of this film was officially declared in December 2021. Liger is a must-watch film, for the audience who loves to watch hardcore Bollywood action-packed films. The action sequences of the movie along with its songs have already created enough hype among the masses. The Censor board are in awe of Vijay Deverakonda’s jaw-dropping performance in this movie.
