Amala Paul is a popular South Indian actress who has appeared in a number of South Indian films. She made her acting debut at the age of 19 in the Malayalam hit movie Neelathamura in which she played a supporting role.

She became recognized in the film industry after her portrayal of the main character in the Hindi drama Mynaa film which was released in 2010. After her success in Mynaa, she came to be known as “the new top star of 2011” and went on to feature in many other well-known movies such as Raghuvaran B tech, Ratsaan, Thalaiva, Lailaa O Lailaa, etc.

Amala Paul Varghese was born on 26th October 1991(currently 31years) in Ernakulam, Kerala to Paul Varghese and Annice Paul.

She also had a brother named Abhijit Paul who is a film producer and was a strong supporter throughout her acting career. Paul Varghese tragically passed away in Kochi on 22nd January 2020 (aged 61) due to cancer.

Amala Paul attended school at Nirmala Higher Secondary School Alluva, Kerala and attended college at St Teresa’s College, Kochi where she pursued her B.A degree in communicative English.

In 2011, Amala Paul fell in love with film producer A.L. Vijay and the pair were married on 12th June 2014. However, her in-laws did not approve of their relationship and the pair got divorced in February 2017.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Amala Paul was in a relationship with Bhavinder Singh, however, the details were not revealed to the public until 2020 when she revealed that they had been in a live-in relationship and recently gotten married.

Amala Paul has built up a strong social media following over the years with over 4.3 million followers on Instagram and over 2.2 million followers on Twitter.

Recently she shared a picture of herself and viewers were quick to point out the similarities in appearance between herself and another famous Indian actress Deepika Padukone. As of 2022, Amala Paul has a net worth of $4million or 29crore in rupees.
