But the tragedy occurred on November 1, 2013, when he collapsed during a football game. 

He scored the touchdown and was walking back to the sidelines when he suddenly fell on the ground. Coaches and medical staff rushed to his aid, but after putting in every effort, brent was declared dead a short time later.
