In a rally event in Andhra Pradesh which was for the launch of the state-wide “podyatra” of TDP general secretary, he suddenly fainted. He was then taken to Narayana institute of cardiac sciences in Bengaluru for his treatment.
Unfortunately, he only survived 22 days in his deathbed. He was admitted on 27th Jan 2023 and took his final breathe on 18th feb 2023 on Saturday. Nandamuri Tarak Ratna collapsed in a rally earlier also which shows he was not well from a long time.
