It is directed by R Balki, who has directed movies including Cheeni Kum, Ki & Ka, Shamitabh, Padman, and Paa. The film is R Balki’s tribute to Guru Dutt, who died on October 10, 1964, at the age of 39. The release date of Chup: Revenge Of The Artist has been set for 23rd September 2022.
