 The movie has garnered a lot of support from people all throughout the nation. It did well at the box office on its first day, generating a sizable opening day haul before the weekend.  It was premiered on 7th July and earned 18 crores in indian box office.

This is a Hollywood movie’s fifth-largest opening day in India. The Marvel superhero spectacular, directed by Oscar-winning Taika Waititi, has Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson and Natalie Portman, in the lead roles. Natalie Portman, an Oscar winner, will reprise her role as Jane, and Thompson will seen in the film as Valkyrie.  

Debut of thor: 

The movie is anticipated to follow Doctor Strange and Spiderman: No Way Home in terms of box office earnings, even if its day 1 take is a little bit lower than that of Doctor Strange and Multiverse of Madness. The debut of Thor: Love and Thunder, according to Box Office India, “is not as robust as Dr Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness, which had opened at over 55 percent and nearly crossed 30 crore nett on day one. 

The BLOCKBUSTER Spiderman movie  

No Way Home, which featured Dr. Strange, helped Dr. Strange – In The Multiverse Of Madness gain popularity and have a successful opening in India. Thor – Love And Thunder’s debut, however, is excellent and one that could threaten the 20 crore nett record, which is uncommon for a Hollywood production; if it succeeds, it would be the sixth one to do so. 

With the film, the critically regarded actor Christian Bale made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, playing the villain Gorr.
