Recently married couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt break down the internet by revealing that she is pregnant and the couple are expecting their first child. By taking it to internet, the actress uploaded on Instagram and made public her pregnancy with the caption “Our baby ….. coming soon.”
However, Alia shared the happy news with her up coming film ‘ Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ director and his mentor Karan Johar in person and reveals that the reaction to the news of hers was quite emotional. In a recent interview, Karan Johar told the media that he cried when Alia told him about her pregnancy and husband Ranbir Kapoor expecting their first child.
The Famous Bollywood flimmmaker said that Alia had came to his office and when he broke down she comforted him with a hug. Karan also get excited and said that he can’t wait to hold her beloved Alia’s baby in his arms.

In an interview with e-times, Karan said , “I cried. She came to my office. I remember I was having a bad hair day and I was sitting in a hoodie with cap. And she told me this.
And my first emotion was the tears just came out and she came and gave me a hug. It was a very emotional moment for me, it still is!” Karan also added that, “I’ve seen her from a girl transforming into an outstanding artist, into this wonderful self-assured woman.
And I feel so much pride. Because really, she was my first burst of being a parent. My first burst of parenting was actually with her and she walked into my office when she was 17. She’s 29 today and these last 12 years have been magical for both of us because I share such a strong bond with her.
I can’t wait to hold her baby in my arms. It will be a very emotional moment, as close to when I held my own children.” Alia made her Bollywood debut in movie ‘Student of the year’ in 2012 in the direction of Karan Johar along with the co-actors Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, late Rishi Kapoor, Sana Saeed, Farida Jalal and Ram Kapoor. Her recent movie ‘Gangubai’ was a mega hit.
